Heather has been teaching voice since 2009 and currently runs and manages a number of music projects. Heather graduated from Leeds College of Music in 2014, where she achieved her MA with distinction, in Composition. Community music groups are a constant fixture in her teaching programme (see links to some of Heather’s projects below) and she also teaches privately at her home. Heather specialises in Pop, Rock and Musical Theatre.
Heather has honed in on her abilities to build communities and form positive relationships through music. She is very enthusiastic about how singing promotes good health for physical and mental wellbeing. Heather also has the pleasure of working with a variety of people in her work; the older community, disabled adults, ex-offenders, mental health charities, COPD suffers, to name a few.
She has had direction and tuition from former British Voice Association Presidents Dane Chalfin and Kim Chandler, and has also had instruction in Utrecht, Holland from Complete Vocal Technique expert, Cathrine Sadolin.
